Learn how to activate 3G and GPRS in your airtel mobile. You can easily activate 3G services in your airtel mobile in two ways. First method is by sending SMS and other method is directly calling to airtel 3G care from your mobile. Follow the same steps that are used to activate 3G to convert your old 2G GPRS to airtel 3G for faster internet experience. Following are the steps to be followed to activate 3G services in your airtel prepaid connection.

You can easily activate 3g in your airtel device just by sending a simple SMS in the following format to 121

SMS “3G” to 121

After sending the SMS you will receive a confirmation message from airtel for activating 3G services in your device and it will take about 15-30 minutes for activation.

Alternatively you can also call to 12134 from your airtel mobile for activating 3G services.

To convert your Airtel 2G to 3G, Just a SMS ‘3G’ to 121 and save the setting in your mobile that you received in your mobile after sending the SMS

To select Internet packs through USSD –Dial - *1218*8#

To select data packs through USSD –Dial - *121*11#
